History

In line with global innovations in renewable energy, Sica set out to engage in a committed way in the construction of new ecologically sustainable energy matrices.

In 2017 and after years of prospecting for an international strategic partner that could provide the complementary know-how, Sica signed a Joint Venture with the Haizea Wind Group, a world benchmark in the wind sector and one of the most thriving and consolidated groups in currently, who was the technological contributor and the necessary commercial back to develop a plant in Argentina to build structural towers for wind turbines, according to the customer’s designs and specifications.

Thanks to the commitment and synergy generated between both companies, this vision could finally materialize in less than 8 months, with a model plant of 14,000 m2, with an additional 25,000 m2 available for storage, “World Class” classification, which implies having completed with all current international standards. Our plant is currently prepared to build 450 sections per year destined for both the domestic market and for export.
